Cibolo's Park System Is Small but Very Local

Cibolo's park system is not flashy. It is useful. The city keeps about 200 acres across Niemietz Park, Al Rich Park, Schlather Park, and Veterans' Memorial Park.

Those parks have the things families use on normal weekends: grills, courts, picnic tables, play areas, and fields for baseball, soccer, and football. Cibolo also hosts free family events such as CiboloFest and Cibolo Summer Nights. Instead of one big showpiece park, the city has several nearby outdoor anchors close to daily life.
