White Rock Creek Trail Links North Dallas Parks to the Lake
The White Rock Creek Trail runs 9.2 miles through northeast Dallas, tracing White Rock Creek the whole way. It strings together a chain of parks in the White Rock Creek Greenbelt and then drops down to connect with White Rock Lake.
If you're new to north Dallas, this is the trail that makes the map make sense. Follow it and you see how the creek, the greenbelt parks, and the neighborhoods between them all hang off the same water corridor that feeds the lake.
It doesn't run alone, either. The route ties into the Cottonwood Creek Trail, the Flag Pole Hill Trail, and the lake loop itself, so a short ride can turn into a much longer one depending on where you peel off.
