Bachman Lake Sits Beside Love Field with a Trail Around the Water

Bachman Lake is a 205-acre city lake in northwest Dallas, tucked against the north side of Love Field at 3500 West Northwest Highway. Planes lift off over the water, and that airport edge is part of the place's personality.

A trail of about three miles loops the shore. The park also has picnic areas, a pavilion, an accessible playground, indoor and outdoor swim facilities, fishing, a boat ramp, shade, and tables near the water.
