A Water District Quietly Runs Some of Tarrant County's Favorite Outdoors

TRWD is easy to think of as pipes, reservoirs, and levees, but its public footprint is also recreational. Its directory connects Eagle Mountain Park, Marine Creek Lake, Twin Points Park, Trinity River kayak launches, and the Trinity Trails. Trail upkeep is shared with the City of Fort Worth.

Each place has its own setup. Eagle Mountain Park is a trail park open from dawn to dusk, Marine Creek has its own operating hours, and Twin Points has an entrance operation. Use the district's recreation directory to choose the place first, then check that place's current rules and access details.
