Azle, Texas

Azle straddles the Parker–Tarrant county line on the northwestern side of the Dallas–Fort Worth area, about 16 miles west of Fort Worth. It sits on the shore of Eagle Mountain Lake, a reservoir on the West Fork of the Trinity River that gives the community a lakeside character and supports boating and fishing. Once a rural farming town, Azle has grown into a suburban community as the metroplex has spread westward.

Property here runs through the Parker Central Appraisal District and the county tax office — the homestead exemption, the appraisal cap, protests, and any MUD, PID, or special districts all sit at the parcel level. The Parker County notes below cover the practical details, with the official county directory for the appraisal district and tax office.
