The Trinity Trails Tie Fort Worth Parks Together
The Trinity Trails are what make Fort Worth feel like a river city in everyday life. The Tarrant Regional Water District manages the system along the Trinity River and its branches — more than 100 miles of paved trail with around 17 trailheads across the city.
Because it is one connected network, the same trail can carry you past the Botanic Garden and Japanese Garden, the Zoo, the historic Stockyards, and downtown, tying dozens of parks and neighborhoods together. People walk, run, cycle, and even ride horseback on it.
TRWD posts trail maps, trailhead locations, and rules for users. Before a long run, ride, or family walk, check TRWD for maps, closures, etiquette, and current trail conditions.
