North Lakes Park is Denton's big north-side park

North Lakes Park covers 351 acres on Denton's north side, built around two lakes. It packs in three pavilions, three playgrounds, a recreation center, a sports complex, sand volleyball and basketball, restrooms, and a radio-control model aircraft runway for the hobby crowd.

For walkers and runners there is a 1.32-mile concrete trail and a 0.85-mile soft-surface trail, plus two free public disc golf courses.
