Lewisville Lake Park is the city's big shoreline park
Lake Park stretches over 662 acres of Lewisville Lake shoreline at 600 Sandy Beach Road, run by the City of Lewisville on land leased from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. It is where the city has concentrated its lakefront life.
The park is built around four areas: a golf course, athletic facilities, day-use areas, and a marina. Lake uses include campgrounds, beaches, docks, boat ramps, and picnic spots, plus an 18-hole golf course and a free public disc golf course.
For a resident or visitor, this is Lewisville's big lakefront day. Boating, camping, beach time, ballfields, golf, and marina traffic all meet in one place, so entry routes and swim-area notices are part of the rhythm.
