Start with the exact parcel, not just the town name. Seven school districts reach into Caldwell County. The local tax-unit roster also includes cities, emergency services districts, water districts, Austin Community College, and several MUDs.

Those lines matter when you compare homes. A place inside a MUD can carry a different total rate than a nearby place outside it, even when the mailing addresses look alike.
