The I-35E TEXpress lanes run from Denton County toward Dallas

Denton County drivers on I-35E have a paid express option. The I-35E TEXpress lanes opened in May 2017 and run 18 miles from Denton County into Dallas County, including reversible lanes from Swisher Road in Corinth down to I-635 in Dallas that flip direction with the morning and evening rush.

These are not free main lanes. TxDOT sets the toll with dynamic pricing, so the price goes up when traffic is heavy to keep the lanes moving. NTTA handles the billing and customer service and reads TollTags, TxTags, and EZ TAGs.

If you commute from Denton, Corinth, Lake Dallas, Lewisville, or Carrollton, know which lanes are tolled before you merge. A transponder account can also matter for any HOV or motorcycle discount programs.
