Before a fishing trip to Galveston Bay, check TPWD's Gulf Coast Weekly Fishing Report. It covers which species are active, where fish are being caught, what bait is working, and current water conditions. Reports are updated each week.

Galveston Bay fishing changes with the season and weather. Speckled trout, redfish, flounder, and sheepshead are common species.
