Wilson County's FEMA maps became effective in July 2023

Wilson County's current FEMA maps took effect July 19, 2023. Search the address and map panel, then place the house or planned building on it. A lender may require flood insurance when that building is in a Special Flood Hazard Area and backs a covered loan.

The map does not issue a building permit. Wilson County uses its own development review for land in the area it serves. Before adding fill, moving a home, or choosing a pad, take the parcel and project to the county permit office. Use the current effective map, not an old listing or screenshot.
