The County Page Has the Ballot; VoteTexas Handles Registration

For a Willacy County election, the county page is the place to find local notices, sample ballots, early-voting material, mail-ballot information, and results. The Elections Office is at 190 N. 3rd Street, Room 158, in Raymondville; its phone number is 956-689-2387.

A new voter starts with the statewide VoteTexas route. The online form does not finish the job. Print it, sign it, and return it at least 30 days before the election. The DPS online route is narrower. It is for someone who already has a Texas driver license or ID and is renewing, replacing, or changing contact details on that card.

A current voter can use the state update service for a name or address change. It asks for voter details, including the voter unique identifier, or VUID. That number appears on the voter registration certificate. The My Voter Portal can check status by VUID, Texas driver license number, or name. Use Willacy County for the election at hand. Use VoteTexas and the portal for the voter record behind it.
