Room 153 Records Property; Room 102 Handles District Court

Two clerk offices share 576 W. Main Avenue, but the record type chooses the room. The County Clerk in Room 153 handles the county's real-property recording route, civil-fee information, and birth and death certificate work. The District Clerk in Room 102 handles district-court filings and posts routes for local rules, child support, and appeals.

As checked July 29, 2026, County Clerk hours were Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. The county does not post District Clerk hours. Online filing entries do not include document images. Call Room 102 at 956-689-2532 when a copy is the thing you need.

The civil-fee sheet is dated 2022, and the real-property fee schedule is dated 2024. Ask the right office for today's amount and payment choices before going to the courthouse. For property or vital-record questions, call the County Clerk at 956-689-2710. For a district-court file, call the District Clerk instead. A deed copy and a district-court pleading may share a building, but they do not share a counter or phone number.
