Cole Park Is Corpus Christi's Bayfront Blanket-and-Chair Stage

Cole Park does not need much ceremony. A lawn chair, a blanket, and the bay breeze do half the work. The amphitheater sits at 1526 Ocean Drive and hosts the Bay Jammin' Concert and Cinema Series.

That detail makes Corpus Christi feel lived-in. The same bayfront that visitors photograph becomes an ordinary summer meeting ground for music, movies, kids running around, and neighbors who know where to spread out.

It is also a reminder that Ocean Drive is not all windshield scenery. In the right season, the public edge of the bay turns into an evening room.

The schedule changes by season, but the shape of the place lasts: a public stage facing the water, close to downtown and open to the coast.
