Champion Park Mixes Creek Time and Dinosaur Play
Champion Park near Cedar Park is the kind of place children remember by its dinosaur play area. The covered playscape lets kids dig around castings of dinosaur bones, with open space, swings, climbing boulders, restrooms, and parking around it.
The large covered pavilions have built-in grills and can be reserved, which makes the park work for birthdays as well as quick play stops. Brushy Creek and the Brushy Creek Regional Trail are right there too.
For a family outing, that means shade, creek time, a trailhead, and play in one parking lot. Check the county park page for pavilion reservations, hours, and current rules.
