Wolf Pen Creek is a trail and event park

Wolf Pen Creek sits in the middle of College Station and does double duty: an everyday park most of the year, and a concert and festival ground when the city throws something big. Its open-air amphitheater has lawn seating for about 7,000 people sloping down toward the creek.

On a normal day it's quieter. The park has a disc golf course, a playground, multiple restrooms, and creekside paths to stroll. For events, the city rents out a 2,000-square-foot Green Room with a meeting room, three dressing rooms, catering prep space, and a balcony over the park — the kind of back-of-house space a stage show or wedding needs.
