Travis Bryan Midtown Park remakes an old golf course

Bryan's old municipal golf course is becoming Travis Bryan Midtown Park. Since 2020, the city has been turning 150 acres into an athletic, wellness, and entertainment complex. Fairways and a drained lake have given way to event venues and ballfields.

Legends Event Center, Travis Fields, Topgolf, D-BAT Aggieland, and festival grounds already sit on the site. A 12-foot-wide multipurpose trail is planned to ring the park.

Still planned are a boardwalk, a refilled Midtown Lake, fishing piers, boat rentals, and an accessible playground. The place is half built and half coming.
