Two offices handle your property taxes in Lynn County
The Lynn County Appraisal District works out of 1615 Main St. in Tahoka, and it does double duty: it sets the value on your house or land, and it also collects the taxes for most of the taxing units in the county. Their number is 806-561-5477. If you think your value is too high, this is where the protest goes — same building, same staff.
There's a county Tax Assessor-Collector too, but they don't collect property taxes here; that job sits with the appraisal district. So a homeowner showing up at the assessor-collector's window with a property tax payment gets pointed back across to the appraisal district. One office, one address in Tahoka, handles the value and the bill both.
