Collin Has Three Property-Tax Counters, but Specialty Work Goes to McKinney
A property-tax payment does not require a trip to McKinney. There are three payment counters. McKinney is at 2300 Bloomdale Road. Frisco is at 6101 Frisco Square Boulevard. Plano is at 900 East Park Boulevard. Each is a counter, not just a mailing address.
All three take a regular property-tax payment. The county also accepts payments online and by mail. Make a mailed check payable to the Collin County Tax Assessor-Collector. The property-tax page carries the current hours and mailing details. For tax certificates and special inventory tax, use the McKinney office. Those requests are separate from a regular payment. The general office directory uses Suite 2302 at Bloomdale Road, while the special-inventory-tax mailing route uses Suite 2324. Follow the suite printed on the form for the work you need.
Sort out the task before the drive. A payment can go to any listed counter. Tax-certificate or special-inventory-tax work belongs in McKinney. Have the account number and the form for that request ready; the street address alone may not finish the route.
