Pilot Knoll Park gives Highland Village its lake access
Pilot Knoll Park sits on Lake Lewisville in Highland Village. Its size changes with the water, running from about 65 to 85 acres as the reservoir rises and falls. It serves nature lovers, campers, hikers, and horseback riders.
The park has a day-use area, improved camping, primitive camping, and a boat ramp with a courtesy dock and parking. It can be a picnic stop, an overnight, or a morning launch point.
Pilot Knoll is a reminder that Lake Lewisville access is spread across several Denton County cities, not just Lewisville. Ramp status, camping rules, and water level can change the visit.
