Drawn Hunts Inside Palo Duro Canyon State Park

Palo Duro Canyon State Park hosts a special Exotic Only (EXO) hunt for aoudad (Barbary sheep) and feral hogs. These hunts are by drawing — you apply through TPWD and are selected at random. The EXO hunt requires centerfire rifles, not archery equipment; a separate Archery Deer hunt at the park does require archery equipment.

These hunts let you access terrain inside the state park that is otherwise off-limits to hunters. Space is limited and demand is high, so apply as soon as the drawing opens. Check the TPWD public hunt drawing page for application windows and rules.
