Little Elm Park has one of the area's few public sand beaches
On the west side of Little Elm Park, the town keeps a public swim beach on Lewisville Lake. It is an enclosed sand area where boat traffic is not allowed, so swimmers and boats stay apart. A real lake beach is still a rare thing in landlocked North Texas.
The beach is built for open sand play, with posted rules. The public boat ramp sits just west of the park entrance at 1101 W. Eldorado Parkway for anyone launching a boat.
Little Elm leans hard into lake access, and this beach is the center of that identity. Town rules, parking, ramp details, and reservoir levels all shape a beach day here.
