Lake Beach
Little Elm Park has one of the area's few public sand beaches
Along the western shoreline of Little Elm Park, on Lewisville Lake, the town keeps a public swim beach: an enclosed sand area that does not allow boat traffic, so swimmers and boaters stay out of each other's way. A real lake beach is a rarity in landlocked North Texas, which is part of what makes this one a draw.
It is built for open sand play, with posted rules to follow, and the public boat ramp sits just west of the park entrance at 1101 W. Eldorado Parkway for anyone launching a boat.
Little Elm's whole public life leans on lake access, and this beach is the center of it. If you are visiting or moving nearby, check the town page for current rules, parking, ramp details, and how lake levels are affecting the beach before you plan a day there.
