Lions Park is Temple's everything-at-once park
Lions Park is Temple's everything-at-once park: 108 acres at 4320 Lions Park Road. A family can split up and still stay in the same place: playgrounds, softball fields, the Central Texas Bark Park, and a two-mile hike-and-bike trail.
The list keeps going. The park has an 18-basket disc golf course, a pond, horseshoe pits, a multiuse soccer field, picnic shelters, pavilions with grills, and an amphitheater for events.
That mix is what makes the park feel so local. It is not just a pretty green space. It is where ordinary Temple weekends can hold a game, a walk, a birthday lunch, and a dog run without leaving the park.
