Conroe Park

Kasmiersky Park Is a Shady West Conroe Everyday Park

Kasmiersky Park sits at 889 Old Magnolia Road on the west side of Conroe, 10 acres made possible by a 1985 gift from the estate of Steve A. Kasmiersky.

What's there now is a lot for the acreage: an ADA-compliant playground, two pavilions, a lighted multi-use field, an off-leash area for dogs, picnic spots, a half-mile lighted walking trail, and a skate park. Old live oak and pine throw real shade over the picnic tables, which in a Conroe August is the whole point.

For the west side, that adds up to comfort within reach — a shaded walk, a quick skate session, or a small picnic that doesn't require crossing town to find. The pavilions are reservable through Conroe Parks if you want to claim one for a birthday or a cookout.
