Two Big Construction Corridors Meet in Guadalupe County

Through Seguin, TxDOT is rebuilding I-10 from FM 464 to SH 130. The job widens four main lanes to six and includes ramps, frontage roads, and bridge work. TxDOT currently lists fall 2029 as the estimated finish. This is the main Seguin work zone.

Near Schertz, the 9.5-mile I-35 NEX Central project runs from I-410 North to FM 3009. TxDOT currently lists late 2027 for that work. Project dates can move, and lane closures move faster; DriveTexas shows the live road picture.
