I-10 Has Matching Rest Areas East of Seguin

You do not have to cross traffic to find this stop. TxDOT lists one Guadalupe County safety rest area for eastbound I-10 at mile 621 and another for westbound traffic at mile 622. The restrooms are open 24 hours.

Both sides have picnic tables, cool indoor space, drinking water, a play area, and separate parking for trucks and cars. They also have a family restroom, vending machines, a walking trail, and displays. Limestone walls, deep shade, and tall windows make the 2006 buildings feel more like local porches than bare highway stops.
