Boorman Trail follows Grace Creek through Longview

Boorman Trail is Longview's three-mile creek walk. It follows Grace Creek and runs through Lois Jackson Park, where a playground and picnic tables sit near the trail. The path is concrete, with drinking fountains, fitness stops, and a restroom along the route, so it feels like more than an empty strip of pavement.

Distance is easy to track. Quarter-mile marks are set into the pavement from both ends. If you start at Summers Drive or Highway 80, you can still know how far you have gone. The tall pole signs do a different job. PB-1 through PB-12 are 9-1-1 markers tied to GPS locations, which helps because the trail has many access points.

That mix is the charm. Boorman is useful, but it is also a green daily habit. It turns a drainage line into a public outdoor route for walkers, kids at Lois Jackson Park, people using the fitness stops, and anyone who wants a quiet mile without leaving the middle of Gregg County.
