Texas changed its inspection rule in 2025. Most personal cars and trucks no longer need a safety check. Johnson County is still in the emissions program. The Johnson County Tax Office handles titles and tags at 2 North Mill Street in Cleburne. It has other county locations too. Some renewals can be done online.
