Huddleston Is Nearby Public Hunting, Not Terry County Land

From Brownfield, Huddleston feels close. TPWD's Unit #2504 map still puts the hunt in Dawson County. The small locator map shows Terry County just north of it. I could not verify the old line that the unit is in Terry County, so this note treats it as nearby, not county land.

Huddleston is 859 acres in TPWD's public hunt program. The map shows access off CR 38 and CR 6. For 2025-2026, legal game is dove in the North Zone dove season and quail in quail season. TPWD also marks OSR as required each day. The whole unit closes November 22 through December 7.

If you are planning from Meadow or Brownfield, search for Unit #2504 in the APH map. Then match your date to the legal-game list for that unit.
