A Fannin Property-Tax Question May Start at the CAD

Two Bonham offices sound as if they do the same job, but they do not. The Fannin Central Appraisal District at 831 W. State Hwy. 56 decides a property's taxable value and handles exemptions and protests.

The county Tax Assessor-Collector is at 210 S. Main St. That office handles vehicle title and registration work, but it does not collect property taxes.
