Who handles your property tax in Shelby County

A separate office, the Shelby County Tax Assessor-Collector, sends your tax bill and collects payment. That office is at 200 San Augustine St. in Center. The two offices are different stops for different tasks. If you think your value is wrong, start with the appraisal district, not the tax office.
