Lake Graham Is Really a Two-Lake Water Story

Drive north of Graham and the water is not one simple lake. It is a pair. Lake Eddleman sits on Flint Creek. Lake Graham sits on Salt Creek. The city built the Eddleman dam in 1928 and the Graham dam in 1958. After June 1959, a canal joined the two basins so they could work as one water system.

That mix is the local story. A reservoir can be a weekend fishing spot and city water storage at the same time. The shoreline is recreation, but the dams and canal are part of Graham's daily life.
