Eisenhower State Park Sits on Lake Texoma's Rocky Northern Shore
Eisenhower State Park sits on the Lake Texoma bluffs near Denison, about an hour north of Dallas. TPWD points visitors to more than four miles of trails, a sandy swimming cove, two fishing piers, a fish-cleaning station, and a boat ramp with a courtesy dock.
Overnight choices range from tent sites to RV pull-throughs, screened shelters, and Ike's Cabin. Fishing from shore inside a Texas state park does not need a license. The park often reaches capacity, so day-use or camping reservations are the safer plan on warm weekends.
