Dumas pavilion reservations start with City Hall
Dumas accepts pavilion reservations at McDade, Texhoma, and Morton parks. As checked on July 29, 2026, the posted security deposit is $50 and is collected at rental. The deposit is returned when the park area is left clean.
Treat that amount as a deposit, not a full rental quote. The total charge, payment method, cancellation rules, and reservation hours are not published. Availability also depends on the date and pavilion.
The parks offer different settings. McDade has three covered pavilions with grills. Texhoma adds a picnic area, swings, a dog park, two fire-pit areas, and cornhole. The city confirms that Morton has a reservable pavilion but does not publish a current amenity list for it.
Call Dumas City Hall at 806-935-4101 with the park name and date. Ask about the total charge, how the deposit is paid and returned, and what step actually holds the reservation. For a larger gathering, also ask which pavilion fits the group, where nearby restrooms are, and whether grills or electrical outlets are included. The $50 figure answers the deposit question; City Hall still has to quote the total and hold the date.
