Webb County Development Starts With a Planning Determination
A project outside Laredo starts with the Development Determination Application. That form comes before any other one on the June 2026 development list. At that time, the fee was $30 for home or other non-business work and $100 for commercial work. The packet also asked for proof of ownership and ID.
After that, the path can split. The county has separate forms for E-911 address letters, floodplain work, septic work, water and sewer permits, and plats. The planning office handles land-use rules, review, and plats for county land.
