A Texas mailing address is not a city-limit answer

A property can have a city mailing address but sit outside city limits, inside an ETJ, or in a special district.

That matters for permits, short-term rental rules, trash service, police, zoning, taxes, and utility providers.

Before buying, look up the parcel map and tax account instead of relying on the address line.
