Who Appraises Your Property in Guadalupe County

The Guadalupe Appraisal District, or GAD, works on value, exemptions, property records, and appraisal protests. Local taxing units set their own rates. The County Tax Office uses the certified values and adopted rates to calculate and collect taxes.

GAD's main office is at 3000 N. Austin St. in Seguin. It also lists a Schertz office at 1052 FM 78, Suite 103. Both use (830) 303-3313, with different phone options. Temporary closures or office changes can appear on the home page. The taxpayer portal handles property records, applications, and protests.
