Celeste, Texas
Celeste is a small city in Hunt County, in the blackland prairie country of North Texas about 27 miles east of McKinney. The surrounding land is largely rural, given over to farming and pasture on the deep dark soils that define the region. It sits well beyond the developed suburbs of the Dallas area, in open country northeast of the metroplex.
