Vehicle Paperwork Has County Offices and Full-Service Deputies

Most everyday vehicle paperwork in El Paso County flows through the county tax office system — registration renewals, title transfers, motor-vehicle address changes, disabled parking placards, copies of a registration receipt, and temporary registration all sit on that menu.

The county counters aren't the only option, though. El Paso County also contracts with privately owned Full Service Deputy Offices, which give residents another place to handle vehicle registration and title transfers, usually for an added convenience fee.

The closest counter isn't always the right counter for what you need, and high-volume days can shut a branch early. Pull up the county's Office Hours and Locations page for the matching branch and service before you take time off work or drive across town to a window that can't do your transaction.
