Robertson County Has Two Separate Tax Offices

Two different offices in Franklin have a hand in your property taxes, and confusing them costs people time. The Robertson County Appraisal District puts a value on your land and house. The Tax Assessor-Collector takes that number, multiplies it out, and mails you the bill.

So if your value looks too high, arguing with the office that collects the money gets you nowhere. The value fight belongs at the appraisal district, over on Morgan Street at number 108. The bill itself, and the check that pays it, run through the assessor-collector at 315 N. Center St., a few blocks away.
