The Oldham County Appraisal District sets the value of your property. It handles exemptions too — things like homestead, over-65, and disabled veteran. Their office is at 909 Vega Blvd in Vega. If you think your value is too high, you file a protest with this office.

The Tax Assessor-Collector is a separate office at 105 S. Main St. That office sends bills and collects payment. Rates change year to year, so check the current figures directly with the district.
