Use the delinquency date printed on the Henderson County tax bill
Property tax is due when the bill arrives. If the original bill is mailed by January 10, unpaid tax is usually delinquent February 1. Penalty and interest begin after the controlling date.
A later original bill moves the deadline. Texas gives at least 21 days before delinquency, using the first day of the next month that fits the rule. That is why the date printed on the bill matters more than a general reminder.
Pay through the collector shown on that bill. Split-payment, installment, deferral, and disaster rules can differ, so ask about the exact account before the date passes.
