Paying Medina County Property Tax — and the Call That's Always a Scam

Property-tax payments in Medina County go to the Tax Assessor-Collector, not the appraisal district. The main office is at 1502 Avenue M in Hondo, with substations in Devine and Castroville.

The county tax page lets you look up tax history, print statements, make payments, and print old receipts. Mail and phone payment options are also listed on the same page.

The scam warning is blunt: the Medina County tax office will never call and ask for payment over the phone. If a caller pressures you for card or banking information, hang up and use a number you looked up yourself.
