One office handles both appraisal and tax bills in Roberts County
In most Texas counties you'd ping-pong between two offices: the appraisal district sets your property's value, and a separate tax assessor-collector mails the bill. Roberts County collapses both jobs into one office, run by one person, at 300 E. Commercial St. in Miami.
So a homestead exemption application, a question about why your appraised value jumped, and your actual tax payment all land at the same desk. One wrinkle is that the phone tree splits by topic, so 806-868-5281 reaches the appraisal side and 806-868-3611 the tax-payment side. The appraisal district keeps its own page at robertscad.org, which is where the protest forms and the year's exemption paperwork live.
