Who Handles Property Taxes in Hutchinson County

The Tax Assessor-Collector's office is in Stinnett at 515 S. Main St. That office collects what you owe after the appraisal district sets the value. If you think your value is wrong, you protest at HCAD, not the tax office. The county has several taxing units: Hutchinson County, the city you live in (Borger, Stinnett, Fritch, or Sanford), your school district, and special districts like North Plains Underground Water Conservation District.
