The Paso del Norte Trail Is a Long-Range Plan
The Paso del Norte Trail is one of El Paso's big long-range outdoor projects. A city report describes a planned route of more than 60 miles from the state line at Anthony south along the Rio Grande, with about 40 miles inside city limits.
The plan ties together places people already know: downtown, the Medical Center of the Americas, Chamizal National Memorial, the Playa Drain corridor, and the Mission Valley.
The honest part is simple. This is not one finished path you can ride end to end yet. It is being built in pieces, so use city maps and project pages for the exact stretch you want.
