Public Boat Ramps and Access Points on Lake Travis
Lake Travis has launch points tucked into county parks, LCRA recreation areas, and city parks. Pace Bend alone has separate ramps at Collier Cove and Tatum Cove. Mansfield Dam Park, Muleshoe Bend, Arkansas Bend, and several smaller sites fill out the choices around the long shoreline.
A ramp on a directory is not a promise that it works today. Lake level, flooding, debris, maintenance, and park operations can close a ramp or limit the kind of boat it can handle. Fees, hours, camping, and the operator also vary from park to park.
Start with TPWD's access directory to choose a side of the lake, then check LCRA's live boat-ramp report and the park operator before towing over. Most anglers on Lake Travis also need a Texas fishing license with a freshwater endorsement unless an exception applies.
