Greenbelt Reservoir Offers Fishing and Camping Near Clarendon
Greenbelt Reservoir sits about 4 miles north of Clarendon on the Salt Fork of the Red River. The lake has largemouth and smallmouth bass, catfish, walleye, white crappie, white bass, and sunfish.
Public access is strong: five improved boat ramps, camping and picnic areas, one ADA-accessible fishing pier, and shoreline access for anglers without boats.
Drought can change the day. Low water may affect fishing and ramp access, so check the lake level or call before you go. The Greenbelt authority number is (806) 874-3650; Lakeside Marina is (806) 874-5111.
